In the weekend

In the weekend on Friday night I went to my dads house he lives with my cousins in manukau there names are Cheyenne and Maria. When I got there I started to play with them.

We played blind flo bluff. Then after we played blind flo bluff we played banana splits. Banana splits is when you gotta choose rock paper or scissors I chose scissors and Cheyenne chose rock so she won.

I did the splits then we played again and I won she tried to do the splits but she couldn't so that means I won the whole game. I was happy.

Then after the game we played cards it was called last card after we were playing last card my other cousins came there names are Lincoln and Nikau. Nikau is six years old and Lincoln is five years old.

Me and Cheyenne was playing with them. We were just talking and playing some games in the hallway then after the games we were playing we got a little bit sleepy we fell asleep in Cheyennes room.

Then the morning came my aunt told us to get ready if we want to go somewhere she said it was a surprise. Then after we got ready we left when we got there we finally knew what it was.

We were going ice skating when we got there we got some ice skates. Then I stuck them on and after I stuck them on I went skating. It was fun as I was skating I was passing all my cousins. I was skating really fast I couldn't stop myself.

I fell over only one time. As I had a little rest it was time for the speed skaters they were going really fast. Then after they finished doing speed skating then this person was driving this thing to make the ice more slippery.

In the holiday

In the holiday my dad would sometimes take me in his big truck to Wellington and from Wellington we would go catch a ferry to Christchurch. It is fun going on a ferry because there is big waves. The boat rocks and we could see dolphins. It is cool it takes for three hours till we get to Christchurch. 

When we got to Christchurch my dad was showing me the broken buildings from the earthquake. Then we went to my nan’s sisters house I stayed there for the night. My dad went to do lots of jobs I stayed there by myself I met a couple of girls that live there we went to the park by ourselves just up the road and around the corner. There is a park right next door to where we were staying.


We went to the park next door to where I was staying. It was fun there was this spinning thing you have to hold on to it then you have to run around on the ground then you let your feet go of the ground and then you spin that is really fun.Then we went back where I was staying. When I got back it was nearly tea time. Then we had tea after tea it was nearly dark. I fell asleep on the mattress in the lounge then when I woke up in the morning my dad was waiting for me on the couch so we could go in the truck back to my place.

In the weekend last Friday night I went to my cousins house there names are Cheyenne and Maria. I went with my dad to my cousins house. When i got there I said hi to everyone and they said hi back.

I saw my cousins as I said hi. Then Cheyenne dragged me in her room when i got to her room we were making a tent with a blanket.

After we finished making a tent we got under it we were playing some card games. We were playing this game called skip bo. Then when we were finished our game we were playing with the normal cards.

With the normal cards we were playing last card, snap, fishy fishy and the last game was death. After we were playing our card games I grabbed my dads ipod and we were playing a few games on it.

Then we got a little bit sleepy I gave the ipod back to my dad. Then we fell asleep under the tent. Then it came into morning Cheyenne woke up first and when she woke up she woke me up to go to the lounge to watch tv. Then when everyone woke up we went outside to play.

Then Maria decided to come outside as well we were playing lots of games we were playing octopus, tag, hide n seek and stuck in the mud. After we were playing those games we had a little rest on the deck outside. Then we started to play some more games we were making some games up so we could play them we were play them.

Just as soon we were playing those games my dad called my name because i had to go home. I said bye to my cousins and everyone else and they said bye back that was the end of my weekend.

Friends and Family

Yesterday it was my two aunts birthday one of my aunt's turned 30 years old my other aunt turned 37 years old. Also it was my friends birthday her name is christianna she just turned 12 years old.

I went to her birthday yesterday after school. She lives in manukau. She had a cool birthday we went to manukau pools it was fun.

When we got to the pools were so excited I brought her a present I brought her a pink bop it she liked it. Then we had a little swim we were playing with each other. Then we went back to my friends house I was waiting for my mum to pick me up.

Then I saw her I said bye to my friend and everyone else. Then when my mum picked me up I went to my aunty’s birthday.

When I got to my aunt’s house I gave her a present I gave her some shiny earrings she liked it it was those little disco ones they were shiny as. When I gave her the earrings she said cool. Then she stuck them on i said that they suit her.

Then we had a chocolate cake it was nice we had red jelly with the chocolate cake. Then when we finished having jelly and the chocolate cake we left we were on our way to my other aunt's birthday. I saw my two cousin’s there we were playing outside while my mum was giving her a present.

Then my mum and my aunty said come inside so we could have dinner. We had chicken, Pasta salad, Potato salad and a bbq. It was so nice for our qqb we had meat patties, steak and sausages.

Then after our bbq we had another chocolate cake I only had one piece and then me and my two cousins went outside again to play. We were playing ball tag around the back. It was fun my two cousin’s names was katerina and coory. Then my mum was calling me so we can go back home we hopped in the car and drove home.

Fia Fia

Next week on Thursday we have the real Fia Fia. We are doing it on the stage outside. I am in the hip hop group. We are dancing to a song called ‘can’t hold us’ by Macklemore. The song is fast and we will have to dance to the music fast.

We are training nearly everyday. For the whole week this week we are dancing this week after lunch. We are practising lots of moves to the song. It is a little hard and a little easy.

People in the hip hop group think it is fun and it is really fun. When we have hip hop next Thursday we have to try and not muck it up and try not to talk during our real Fia Fia performance.

Easter weekend

Easter time

On Friday, Monday and Tuesday there was no school because it was the Easter weekend. We went to a reunion. A reunion is when the whole family gets together.

It was fun because I was playing with all of my cousins. On Sunday we had an easter hunt. It was easy. Then we went to a marae for the reunion.

When we were doing the easter hunt there was a fake easter bunny. He gave all the kids a big easter bunny.Then after the easter hunt there was two swings at the marae. I hopped on one of them and one of my uncles pushed  me high as. He pushed me really high and it was fun.

When we were at the marae we had nice foods. For breakfast we had mince,spaghetti and Scrambled eggs. It was nice we had that everyday for breakfast and everyday after breakfast lunch and tea we went on the swing. Some boys went onto the other swing.

Easter means to me that I had a little break from school. It was really fun. My Dad and I were sleeping at my uncles house just up the road from the marae.

At school last Thursday we got free easter eggs. We got a tray of eggs and there were twenty in the tray. We all got one tray each and took them home.

We were really lucky we got twenty eggs in a tray. It was cool when I took it home. I showed my nan and she was shocked when I showed her. She said “cool”.
