Netbook reflection

Having a netbook is cool because we don't have to use pencil and paper we use our netbooks instead. I reckon it's really cool having a netbook because you can learn more on it.

The things that I learnt on my netbook is drawing, writing, spelling and maths. I learn my maths on this math site called xtramath and math whizz. They can make you learn hard maths on math whizz and on xtramath they make you answer the most answers to lots of maths if you finish the whole thing then they put you on the faster time they make you have two seconds. To try answer all of it.

Then if you finish the whole thing then you get on to one point five second

and that is the last one and that is the one I am on and if you finish that whole thing then you finish it all you don't have to do anymore xtramath.

Prize giving night

On Thursday the 12th of December the people starting from years 5 to 8 went to prize giving. It started at seven at night time and finished at 8. When I got to the school I went to play with my friend her name is Faridah. Then at ten to seven we ran to the hall to get in our dancing lines then we went to sit down. Mr Burt came and he started talking.

Then after he was talking the year five’s went up stage to perform their dance they were good and lots of kids were cheering for their friends. The year five’s finished their dance and we were all cheering for them.

Then they went back to sit down. Mr Burt called out peoples names so they can get a prize after the people went back to sit down from getting their prize. The year 6s went up stage to perform. I started cheering for my friend Faridah and she waved at me.

They were good as well when they finished their dance I clapped and cheered. Mr Burt came out again and called people for prizes. Then after that Mr Burt said and now it’s time for the year seven item all the year seven people stood up and went on stage.

When I went on stage I was so nervous and so was some other people. Then the music started we were dancing to a song called fresh prince of bel air then we started dancing. Everybody was cheering at all of us. When we finished our dance my mum clapped and cheered.

Then we went of stage and Faridah clapped and cheered at me. Then we went to sit down and Mr Burt said peoples names to get prizes. Then after they went of stage the year 8s went to perform. After their performance everyone started cheering loud and they sat down on stage.

Then everyone turned around and we sang a song to all the parents and that song was called strive to succeed. Then after we were singing Mr Burt was talking for a little and then he said that we could leave and we all stood up and walked out the hall then my mum came and waited for me to come and then everybody went home.

Action world

Last week on Friday all the yr 7s went to action world. I arrived at school in my mufti clothes and we all waited for the bus. Then the bus came we were all excited we went into the bus and then we left. Action world was in henderson. We got to action world all excited but scared at the same time.

When we went to go we all looked at the activities they looked scary. Then someone was talking and he said we could go on the activities in our groups. The first activity we went on was called the crazy ladder. I went on last.

Then after my turn the boys had their turn after the boys turn we went on to the next activity the next activity was called the jump and slide we had to line up in two lines who wants to do the jump and who wants to do the slide. I chose the slide lots of people chose the slide finally it was my turn I went up and we had to put on this sack and I went down it was fast and cool.

But I was still scared and I went of. Then after everyones turn we went to the next activity it was called free climb. I couldn't do it but i tried my best. Then after my turn everyone else went and that was our last activity then we went to have our lunch. Then after lunch we went on the other activety it was called the jungle swings.

Then when I went on I was really scared it looked high but it was actually not high. Then after everyones turn that was the last activity then the rest of the time we had free time. The activity that I went on a lot was called the jungle swings It was cool.

Then after that activity I went on the jump n slide after that activity I went on the balance rope I was scared because it looked high. Then after the balance rope this guy blew the whistle so he could show us how to do the trapeze that was the one where it was really high I didn’t do that one because it looked to high then a few minutes later it was 12:30.

We left to go back to school we hopped in the bus and we left it took half an hour to get back to school so we just got there just in time for lunch and that was the end of the yr 7s big day out.

In the weekend

In the weekend on Friday night at seven I went to my cousins house with my dad my cousins names are Maria and Cheyenne. When I got to there place I stuck my bag in my dads room and then I went to the lounge to say hi to my cousins and my aunty and uncle and they said hi back.

Then Cheyenne came and she pulled me into her room. As we were going to her room we were playing some games. The games we played was hide n seek, Death and card games. Then after we played the card games Cheyenne and I grabbed our tablets.

When I got mine I quickly ran into Cheyenne’s room and Cheyenne was already waiting for me. Then we started to play on our tablets and on our tablets we were doing challenges. The games we played on our tablets was called Bike race, subway surfers and we were playing music.

After we were playing games on our tablets we were getting a little sleepy. Then we were lying in bed and then we fell asleep. As it went to the morning I woke up and Cheyenne was already awake. Then she had to have a shower so she can go to softball and play.

Then after her shower she left to go at ten in the morning she came back and she was all happy because her team won. Then we went to her room again and we played on our tablets. A few hours later it was six in the afternoon.

Then I went home before I went home I said bye to everyone and they said bye back. Then we were of home when I got home I quickly ran inside that was the end of my weekend.
