Thinking hats reflection on netbook.

When I first started school it was hard for me to learn on a netbook. But now it is getting easier for me to use one. I had a netbook for half a year now. The thing that I like doing on my netbook is I learn faster because you can type more faster and delete words if you make a mistake. It is cool working on a netbook we feel very lucky to use a netbook. The thing that happened on our netbooks is the screen is small because it is a small netbook that we work on. People say that the screen is too small because they can’t see the screen properly. We like to create stuff because we can do all kind of stuff to create. Creating is so awesome. We can create stuff on netbooks. In our netbooks we can create stuff in google draw, Tux paint, And in pizap.

Swimming At Camp.

This was my favorite activity in the year 6 camp we were swimming everyday some people were jumping off the pontoon and off the wharf the water was really deep that i couldn't even nearly touch the ground.

Camp

When we went to camp we caught a bus to sandspit and then we went on a ferry to go to kawau island.

When we got to kawau island we went to our rooms have a walk have lunch and have a swim for free time. Swimming was really fun and we always had free time outside. There was a park there and lots of other stuff there some people were jumping off the pontoon and they reckon it was cool and lots of people were jumping off the wharf and they reckon it was cool as well.



Our rooms was cool. There were one room with 2 beds and the rest of the room with 5 beds in it one side was the boys side and the other side was the girls side. When we were swimming we had to wear life jackets just for that 1 day it was really, really fun. There was lots of stuff there i was in a cabin with Taamai, Doris, Flora and Asena i was sleeping on the bunk Doris was sleeping underneath me flora was next to the wall asena was sleeping on a bed next to doris and taamai was sleeping on a bed next to asena and flora i liked the `bunk and there were cabbyholes for you to put your suit case in. My favorite activities was Sailing and Kayaking and also the confidence course.

Kawau island

On tuesday on the 20th the year 6 people are going to camp at kawau island.


I am looking forward of doing swimming. Because i really like swimming. I hope when we do racing i hope i win in some of that.

It is going to be fun there. Because we are gonna go to  a island. We are going to have swimming every day.

triathlons

When we were doing the triathlon we were riding bikes and we were doing running as well. We were kinda having a race with the bikes. We were riding around the cones and the running people were running around the orange cones.

There were a few people who were dropping their bikes and i nearly fell off and then i came last in the triathlon. Riding the bikes was tiring and my legs were getting sore peddling and i had aching muscles and i was exhausted.

There were two triathlon coaches there names was Brett and Mark. On Wednesday most of the people were going on the water slide some people thought that it was cold and slippery and all that kinda stuff they thought it was cool.

Most of my class said that it was really cool and that they were really sore and had aching muscles and they were exhausted and the water slide was really slippery and cold and that they were soaked.

The running was really tiring on Monday and on Wednesday most of our class had to transition before they went onto the water slide. On Monday i got to help on the triathlon.

Making a happy cake

Making a cake was really,really cool This was the ingredients that we needed  butter, 2 eggs, sugar, vanilla, flour, baking powder, cocoa, chopped nuts, and icing sugar. this is how we make a cake always wash your hands before you begin. In a medium sized bowl melt the butter on high for 1 minute. Stir in the eggs, sugar, and vinegar. beat the mixture well. stir in the flower, baking powder and cocoa. use a sieve. Add some chopped nuts if you want to. Spread the mixture in a 20-cm baking dish. microwave on high from 5 to 7 minutes. let the cake cool in the dish. To add the finishing touch to the cake, you need a pair of scissors and some paper, cut out shapes for the eyes, a nose, and a mouth and put them on the cake you can add hair, ears, and eyebrows, too now sprinkle on the icing sugar and carefully lift of the pieces of paper. There are always plenty of people around to help you eat happy cake.

Pt england shops

On my way to school. I went to the shops and I was  buying myself some lunch. When I was walking I saw some people with no lunch. Then the shops had to close down.

A car crashed into shops and the police came and I heard the police saying stay back stay back and then that is how I knew there was an accident.

Then after the problem I went back home and I told my mum that a car crashed into the pt england shops and I saw some kids walking to school with no lunch. Then she didn’t believe me.

The bush

Me my two cousins and my mum went to the bush for a bushwalk and a picnic.


Then when we were still walking we all noticed that one of my cousins were gone.
Then we were thinking where did she go and then we heard a voice saying help, help,  


She was scared and she started to cry but then we discovered it was her voice. Then we saw her and she saw us. Then we went to have a picnic. Then after the picnic we went for another bush walk and no one got lost. Then after that bush walk we went home with my cousins.

Then when we got to my cousin from the bush walk me my mum and my other cousin knew that she was crying and then we  went home. Then when we got back home we all said that it is good to be home.

Olympics Day

On thursday we had pt england olympics. The teacher chose our country name I was in russia the Russia flag is colours white, red, and blue.

We played all sorts of games we played soccer, 4 squares handball, and sit down volley. I was wearing a red t-shirt and my uniform shorts.

The Russian team leader was Jenaer. and the games that my team played was sit down volley with Mr Barks rounders with Mrs Garden,we played soccer with Ms Guiers.

What i have learnt is that Tommy Kapai made 10 people smile and you have a gift Tommy Kapai has three brothers he made me feel happy because he was sometimes funny and he read us a story about a princess that died

Tommy Kapai is 57 years old and his mother is 87 years old when Tommy Kapai was 9 years old he got a gift from his teacher and when he was still 9 years old he made 10 people smile and laugh and he make everyone feel happy.
