Assembly

This morning at ten to nine we went to the hall to have assembly. When we got to the hall we went to sit down in our seats. Then we sat down waiting for everyone else to come. Then when everyone else came we said good morning to Mr Burt.

Then we all stood up and sang the National Anthem after we sang the National Anthem we sat back down. Then some people started talking after when they started talking we clapped and cheered for them. Then we said the Karakia in maori.

After that we sang another song it was a made up song. Mr Burt and this lady was singing. Then after they finished singing that song we started singing that song. It was a kind of cool song but it was a quick song.

Then after that song we started clapping. Then Mr Burt was talking for a little bit. After when he was talking. We were doing the certificates. Straight after the certificates these two ladies were singing they were really good.

Then after they finished singing we were singing another song called strive to succeed. After that song the band people and the choir people came up. The band people started to play the drums and the electric guitars. Then the whole school started to leave back to their classrooms.

School athletics

On Friday last week we had a school athletics day. Before we were starting for athletics we were getting ready for it we had to wear our house colors. The color house I was in was Te arawa it was a red color I was just wearing my school uniform.

As we were getting ready I went back to class and then we were lining up outside. Then we were on our way to the courts then we sat down in the year I was in.

Then we were just saying a prayer and then we left to start. The activity we started with first was called who can chuck the baseball the longest. I only through it short we were only playing it a little bit two throws each and then we would swap. After we had our two throws each then we would go to the next one. The next one was shot put.

Straight when we got to shot put my dad came. He saw us and then he came and I said hi to him and then we were lining up in a long line so we could play and I was first and I came third at shot put. I was nervous I grabbed one of the shot put and then I pushed it up I never got far. Then it was the next persons turn until we got two turns each we moved on to the next one.

The next one was high jump. When we got to high jump I was third and when I jumped I didn’t make it but I nearly made it. Then I had to have one more turn. If i don’t make it then I sit out. I didn’t make the second one of high jump. Then I just got out and I had to watch all of us that didn’t made the second one then we all had to sit out.

Then after high jump it was morning tea all of us went to class. My dad went to the shops and he brought a drink and then he came back and we were still eating morning tea. Then we all went back outside most of us went to sprint and I was going to sprint.

Then we were getting ready I was versing Efilona, Jazelle and four more people. Then it was our turn to start racing I was coming last and then I catched up to everyone. I still came last but on the second time I was coming last again and then I ended up beating Efilona then I came fifth.

Then we went on to the next activity. The next activity was called The sack race. Then after the sack race we went to tug a war it was fun. Then after tug a war it was finished . Then it was lunch time. Then after lunch was relays I wasn’t in it. Then after relays it was finished then it was two thirty Mrs Lagitupu let me go home first.

Tamaki Tech

         Tamaki tech

On Thursday we went to Tamaki Tech in the morning. As we were walking down to Tamaki Tech we had to walk with a buddy. I walked with a buddy then we got to Tamaki Tech. Then we had to get into our group.

The group I was in was wood material. The thing we have to do in wood material is make necklaces it was cool but the thing that is more scarier is cutting your pattern out.

We have to cut it out was this machine it was scary because we had to do it by ourselves. Then after I cut it out I had to give it to Mr Grundy. So he can put this hot stuff in it.

Then Mr Grundy said we have to stay back because if we tripped and we bang our hand on the hot stuff. Then your hand will completely burn. So we had to stand back.

Then I went to my bench to work on our folders. Then after we done our folders it was time for us to go. We had to pack up the chairs and the rubbish on the ground. Then Mr Grundy was talking for a little bit.

Then after he was talking for a little bit he said now head for the gate and we all said bye Mr Grundy. Then we left and we went back to school.

In the weekend

In the weekend on Friday night my friend came to stay over for the weekend her name is Christianna. When we came to pick her up after school I knocked on her door and she answered it. She went to grab her bag from her room then she came with us.

Then we went home. When we got home me and my friend Christianna played in my room it was cool. Then after we were playing in my room we were watching a movie called Joyful Noise it was cool.

Then after the movie we went back to my room. When we got to my room we were playing cards. The card games we were playing was Last card, Snap, Memory and Fishy Fishy.

They were cool games after our card games it was midnight. Then Christianna and I went to bed because we were getting tired. Then the next day came it was Saturday and the time we woke up was eleven in the morning.

Then when we woke up we went to play outside for a little while. Then it was getting cold. Then when we went back inside we were getting something to eat. Then after we finished eating. Me and my friend went into my room to play on my mums laptop.

The games we were playing on the laptop was cool maths games. Then after we played cool maths games my mum came and said that we had to go to the shops. Then we picked up my nan then we went to the shops.

Then when we went to the shops me and my friend went inside the shops to buy something my mum was waiting in the car. Then it was nearly night time we went to drop of my nan. Straight when we dropped of my nan we went home.

Then when we got home we were watching the movie called burlesque. It was cool then after the movie me and my friend was getting sleepy. Then we went to bed. Then when the next morning came. We had to wake up early so we could drop my friend of.

Then when we went to drop my friend to her house. Then we came home then I just went to my room. That was the end of the weekend with my friend.

in the holidays

On the first week of the holidays it started on Friday. I went to my cousins house named Maria and Cheyenne. On Friday night when I got there I stuck my bag in my dads room and then I went in the lounge to say hi to Maria, Cheyenne and my aunty and uncle.

Then my cousin Cheyenne came to me and then she pulled me into her room and then we started playing. We were playing lots of games the games we were playing was Blind flo bluff, Hide n seek and lots of made up games they were cool.

Then after we finished playing our games I went to go grab my tablet and Cheyenne went to go grab her tablet and then we started playing games on our tablets. The games we were playing on our tablets was subway surf and bike race.

Then we got sleepy we went to bed then the next day came and it was Saturday. Then that same day me and Cheyenne woke up and nine in the morning. Then when we got up we started playing again. The first thing we played on was our tablets.

Then after we played on our tablets we went in the lounge to watch tv. Then we just watched one programme and then me and Cheyenne went on the computer we were playing lots of games on cool maths games.

Then my aunty said for us to come of the computer so we could watch a movie. Then after the movie Cheyenne and I went on the trampoline we were playing tricks. Then after we done tricks we went back inside because it was getting dark.

Then when we went inside it was eight at night time then my aunty said that tea was ready. Then me and Cheyenne quickly ate our tea and then we went back to Cheyennes room and we started playing a card game called Death.

Then after we played that game we went to the lounge to play another game the game we were playing was Cluedo it was cool. Then me and Cheyenne went in the lounge to watch a movie. The movie we were watching is called Red it was a cool movie.

Then Cheyenne and I was getting sleepy so we went to bed. Then as the next day came by it was Sunday Cheyenne and I woke up at ten in the morning. Then when Cheyenne and I got out of bed we went to the lounge to watch tv.

Then we only watched one programme after that programme Cheyenne and I went on the trampoline for a little while. Then it was getting cold we went inside so we can play on our tablets.

Then when we grabbed our tablets we started playing three games on it the games we were playing on it was hardest game ever, subway surf and Bike race. Then it was one in the afternoon.

Then Cheyenne and I was going back on the trampoline because my aunty was cleaning up. Then as we were going on the trampoline Cheyenne and I was playing tricks on the trampoline.

Then it started to get dark my aunty said that dinner was ready so Cheyenne and I ate our dinner and then we went in the lounge to watch a movie. Then after the movie me and Cheyenne was getting sleepy so we went to bed.

Then my aunty said for us to come inside so we could do the dishes. Then after we finished the dishes we went outside to play around the house. Then after we were playing it was five in the afternoon.

Then the next day came it was Monday. We had to wake up at seven in the morning because we had something going on. It was a cooking day Cheyenne and I was getting ready to start our cooking day.

Then we started doing the cooking day. The thing i made was biscuits, jelly and cupcakes Cheyenne was making orange juice, wedges, fudge and cupcakes. my other cousin was making cupcakes, jelly and biscuits. That was cool.

Then we finished cooking. My aunty and uncle had to be the judge of what we cooked. So they had to taste our food and see who wins. Then my aunt and uncle said that they gave me a eighteen out of twenty.

Then it was Cheyenne’s turn and my aunt gave her a nineteen out of twenty and then it was Maria’s turn my aunt gave her a seventeen out of twenty. So that means it was Cheyenne that won I came second and Maria came last.

Then the cooking day finished. It was four in the afternoon Cheyenne and I went on the trampoline for an hour. Then when an hour has past we went inside it was five in the afternoon. Then Cheyenne and I went to her room.

Then when we were in Cheyenne’s room we were playing fireboy and watergirl (live) it was cool. Then when we finished that game we went to play on our tablets for a little while. Then when we finished playing on the tablets it was seven at night. Then we went in the lounge to play a board game called cluedo.

Then it was nine at night and then I was getting sleepy I went to bed. Then the next day came by it was tuesday I had to get ready early so I could go home. Then after an hour went past I went home. Then i got home and that was the end. Of my week with my cousins.

Today we still wait for the race to start. The race can’t start because there is not enough wind. If there is not enough wind they can’t start the race. I hope that new zealand wins the cup.
