Last friday we had a assembly when everyone got there we started we had to stand up and sing the national anthem. When we finished the National Anthem Miss M was talking. After she finished talking one of her friends came on stage his name was Stks.

He sang a few songs some songs made most of us laugh. He asked us if we had seen pitch perfect and everyone put their hands up and he asked if we had seen joyful noise most people put there hands up and he said if we had seen sound of music.

Only a little bit of people stuck their hands up. He sang a song from sound of music he sang do re mi and he sang a couple of songs from joyful noise. Also a couple of songs from pitch perfect.

Losing one of my family members

Last week Saturday we went to a funeral down the coast first we went to rotorua to pick up the body one of my nan's had passed away. Then when we picked up the body we were on our way down the coast my aunty was driving my dads car with my cousin.

Then not until 7 hours we were there. We got out of the car and started walking with the body the coffin was closed then when we sat down we opened the coffin everyone was sad. She was a really cool nan her name was twits my nan was really really nice to all of us.

She passed away because she had a heart attack then she went to the hospital and the hospital said her heart isn’t strong enough any more. That is how she passed away she lived in rotorua. That was really really sad of how she died she was around her 40s.

Last Friday was my uncle’s birthday he turned 37 years old my nan gave him 20 dollars. He was very happy this Wednesday is my cousins birthday her name is cheyenne she is turning 9 years old the school that she is going to is st annes as well.

Today is my other cousins birthday he just turned 5 his name is lincoln the school that he is going is st annes. He likes his new school. He usually comes over for the weekends at my cousins house while i’m there. Tomorrow is my other cousins birthday her name is maria she is turning 12 years old.

The school that she is going to now is st annes my other cousin cheyenne is maria’s sister the always fight when i’m at there house they always hit each other.

The school picnic

Last Friday we went to a school picnic. It was fun lots of people was making stuff with clay. The sand was hot the clay was squishy the beach was salty seawater lots of people was doing karaoke they were all good when people were swimming they were bombing of the rock. The sun was hot against my skin.

People were flying a kite. We had a picnic lunch there most of the people was exhausted and tired. The sand was soft there were lots of seagulls hanging around the beach. Most of the people was eating chopped up melons. We were all excited and joyful.

People was throwing sand a lot people was making sand castles with buckets some people was taking photos of everyone. When we got to the beach we had to look for a place to put our bags.

Lots of people forgot to bring their lunch also there drink bottles they were really thirsty and really hungry. They were asking people for some of their lunch. There was a park at the school picnic it was cool there was lots of people on the swing we were all lining up to have a turn on the swing. Lots of 5 years old up to 7 years old went on the little swing.

Lots of people went on other stuff at the park it was cool we were playing skipping and lots of other stuff we were playing tag and races. I was playing skipping with my other friends but I was the only one that kept on getting out and holding the end of the skipping rope.

When we were playing there was this board you have to try and balance yourself I was balancing my self for ages. and these this 3 player game its with 3 bats and the string is holding the ball and it swings around and you gotta try and hit the ball.

I was playing it for a little while then i stopped playing it then at 2.50 we walked back to school we were walking as the whole school then we got back to school got in our classes finally we were putting the chairs up. Getting our our bags and waiting on the mat then the bell rang finally we went home.        

Tamaki tech

Last Thursday room 21 went to tamaki tech we were making 2 separate groups my group went to cooking we were making butter chicken it was cool you needed lots of ingrediants. The items was a frying pan a mesuring cup and lots of more items.


First one person on our beanch cut the potato and the other person cut the chicken and the butter chicken sauce. Then the frying pan turned on while the onion was in it. Then a person stuck chicken in the frying pan then the butter chicken sauce.

I was the one cooking the chicken, Butter chicken sauce and the onion i was stirring it until it was ready. When it was ready we stuck it in three bowls and we stuck rice in our bowls. Then we sat down on the grown and ate it.

Wow room 21 went to the field to play touch rugby it was cool we were all excited because it was fun. When we got to the field we were lining up in separate lines. We had a couch his name was Kevin when we started we were working in teamwork. We were all throwing the rugby ball and passing.

First we were practising to play touch rugby. Some people was thirsty some people was sprinting and jogging it was cool some  people was tired and thirsty and lots of people was focusing on the rugby ball. People wasn’t sticking to the rules and some people was sticking to the rules.

When I was playing someone threw the ball at me and i catched it and I nearly got a score when somebody else touched me and I ended up in another line and we move into different lines every time we had a turn in our same lines. That was a cool game of touch rugby we didn’t want to finish the game but we were still playing the game and lots of people think it was fun and it was.

Then the game of touch rugby when we were playing it we were using participation. Lots of people was encouraging us and cheering us on. When people throw the ball and another people they kept on missing the ball and they kept on getting out.
